This atmospheric charcoal drawing captures the rugged beauty of Glencoe, Scotland. Measuring 17 by 15 inches the piece features a solitary white cottage nestled at the foot of dramatic, mist-shrouded mountains.
The artist uses the deep contrasts of the charcoal medium to evoke a sense of isolation and the moody, ever-changing weather of the Highlands, as heavy clouds appear to roll over the dark peaks. The work is professionally presented in a white mount and a sleek black frame, making it a striking focal point for any room.
